Welcome to Filebuddy. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Filebuddy website and services ("Service"). By using Filebuddy, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information.

  • Maintain the security of your password and account.

  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.

2. Use of the Service

Filebuddy provides cloud-based file storage and sharing. You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload, store, or share content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.

  • Distribute malware, viruses, or any destructive code.

  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its related systems.

3. Your Content & Permissions

You retain full ownership of the files you upload to Filebuddy ("User Content").

  • License to Filebuddy: By using the Service, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, backup, and share your content solely as necessary to provide the Service to you (e.g., generating thumbnails or executing sharing requests).

  • Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you upload and the consequences of sharing it.

4. Storage and Limitations

  • Storage Limits: Your account is subject to storage limits based on your subscription tier.

  • Fair Use: We reserve the right to suspend accounts that place an intentional or disproportionate burden on our infrastructure.

  • Modifications: We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Filebuddy at our discretion, without notice, if you violate these Terms or if your actions pose a risk to other users or the platform. Upon termination, your right to access your files may cease immediately.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • "As-Is" Basis: Filebuddy is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

  • Data Loss: While we employ industry-standard backups, Filebuddy is not liable for the loss of any User Content. We recommend maintaining local copies of your most important data.

  • Liability Cap: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Filebuddy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Oklahoma, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
